Lagniappe……

Lagniappe (pronounced lann-yap) is a Louisiana Cajun word meaning to give or receive more than is expected.  After 3 sessions I can think of no better description of the mentoring program presented by Alex Jeffreys. Alex is showing me what is possible when I focus on learning how to “build a business” rather than how to “hype” a product and that by following this philosophy I will soon be able to create what happens in my life rather than react to outside influences.

Creating my blog and website, downloading and building the profit platform, and learning how to build a list are all things which a month ago I would have thought were nearly impossible tasks. Now I eagerly look forward to learning how to generate traffic to my sites and all of the other things I will be experiencing in the next few weeks as I learn to build my business. Perhaps the most unexpected part of the program has been the commradarie of the students and the sense of family we are developing. The synergy of the group is going to help us to accomplish amazing things as we learn from one another.

I am cautiously excited as I anticipate creating the ebook I described in my earlier post. I guess my greatest fear is that it is an area in which others will have little interest. If that is the case then it will be a case of learning to fail forward….. Something else which Alex has taught me is an important part of building a successful business.
