<description>@ Hilary - I have talked with some involved in you National Health Service and have heard of the problems there.

I do my geneology research in spurts. When I do get started trying to track something down I tend to obsess with finding a result.

@ Gary - Thanks for popping over from the "Temple". Regarding the profession, I surprise a lot of people with that as i commented about in #2. It surprises me that you would not be totally organized with a place for everything and everything in it's place.

		<description>Hi Ken,

GREAT list! I really enjoy reading these lists. OK. A few comments - random comments - LOL!

#1 - that confused the heck out of me at the start.

#2 - I NEVER would have guessed that. I thought you "looked" like an engineer. Crazy huh?

#3 &#38; #4 &#38; #15 &#38; #17 &#38; #23 &#38; #24 - Same with me.

#18 - I agree. Most people have completely the incorrect impression of martial arts. It is fuelled by the stupidity we see on the Hollywood screens and also the idiots who obtain a small amount of training then use it foolishly to hurt others. That is ENTIRELY the wrong portrayal and attitude. No wonder so many people arrive at such erroneous conclusions about martial arts. I pretty much get sick of trying to correct falsehoods and that is why I prefer, in general, not to talk about it.

There is a presence about people who study martial arts. If I meet somebody I don't know and they have a refined ability in this area then I can sense it. I know that sounds Obi-wan-Kenobi-ish but I can. [heh - Ken - such a play on words there... obi and Ken. I just thought about the significance as I was typing it. Too funny. Just to explain to others - "obi" is the Japanese word for belt and Ken, well, that is YOUR name - LOL!]

#22 - I know many will find this just about impossible to believe but SAME here. I absorb knowledge and then "regurgitate" it in my own style. That is why I rarely, if ever, put my hand up in the webinars. I am too busy listening, watching and taking notes. I don't need to hear my own voice.

Good stuff Ken. I really enjoyed getting to know all this about you.

		<description>Hi Ken

Well done on getting this list done. I have found it really interesting and enjoyable to read about the different people who are taking this course.

It is interesting though how we all seem to have one or two things in common (not necessarily the same) with other people. Perhaps we should do a poll on this!

Anyway to look at yours - #2 My husband was one until he gave up about 5 years ago - too many problems with being single handed in the National Health Service. We had set up our own practice in which I was oficially the Practice Manager, but General Dogsbody better described what I did. So I understand where you are coming from with this.

I enjoy #10 - see my comment on &lt;strong&gt;Paull Hamilton&lt;/strong&gt;'s blog, though I don't have the time at the moment to spend on it.

#23 - we have those in our family - I and my 2 sisters have just spent 3 days tidying up my aunt's house after we moved her into sheltered accommodation. This is not the first visit by any means and we still haven't finished.

My husband has some of those traits, which at the moment are reflected throughout our house, but I do find a help at http://flylady.net. I don't want to leave the same problem to my children at a later date as we are facing now.

The one I agree with most?

#22 - we were given two ears and one mouth for a reason. I am a great people watcher.

Anyway great list and I will mark you off as mission complete.
